Pedometers
Tools such as pedometers or Fitbits are a great source to help you keep track of how well you’re doing during the day. They keep track of how many steps you have taken and some can even tell you how many miles you’ve walked, calories you’ve burned, and your heart rate. Try getting more people involved by having a competition within the office to see who can get those most amount of steps in per week.

Park Far Away
Parking in far away parking spots isn’t something that many people like to do. They mean being father away from your office, which means more walking. Taking an extra 100 steps to get in and out of work simply means having 200 extra steps at the end of the day which you wouldn’t have if you got that spot everyone fights for right outside of the building.

Take a walk
There is nothing wrong with getting up every once and a while to stretch out and take a break. Instead of emailing your colleague across the building, try walking up to them to ask them face-to-face instead. This way you’re still getting the answer you need while still getting steps in for the day.

Some people have habits of becoming too invested in the task they are doing. While there is nothing wrong with that, it can sometimes cut into time you should be using to keep your blood flowing. Setting alarms can help to remind yourself to get up and take a break so you can clear your head and be more efficient.
